Companies come together to help out our nations heroes
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL – (April 30, 2015) – MDM Commercial and LG Electronics provided some much needed equipment for the brand new K-9’s for Warriors facility grand opening. The companies, working in conjunction, provided 25 – 42” televisions, mounting brackets and installation as a donation for the new temporary home for some of our nations heroes. The televisions and brackets were installed by Ralph Johnson, owner of Johnson Installations. The new K-9’s for Warriors center grand opening recognized many of the generous donations provided by the community.
The new K-9’s for Warriors facility will house almost 70 dogs and will allow for 16 veterans to stay on site in temporary housing for 3 weeks while they get to know their service dog. The program is designed to help veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The new location is more than 4 times the size of the old location, which will allow for more veterans to receive assistance faster.
Helping out a program like K-9’s for Warriors is something that MDM Commercial’s CEO, Steve Austin, feels is just a small token of appreciation for the sacrifice these men and women have given for our freedoms. “These heroes have done so much for us, and when there is an opportunity to give something back, we were more than happy to help out,” said Austin. MDM Commercial is just a short 7 miles away from the new facility.
